iOS 15.6 from Apple includes new live sports features, a storage bug fix, and other improvements

The sixth significant upgrade to the iOS and iPadOS 15 operating systems, which were first published in September 2021, was made by Apple today with the release of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6.
Two months have passed between the release of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 and before iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6. The iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 updates are available for free download in the Settings app, and the software is already installed on all compatible devices. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to access the latest software.
A small number of new features and bug fixes are included in iOS 15.6 as Apple completes work on the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 operating systems.
The update fixes a problem that might lead the Settings app to continue to show that the device storage is full even when it isn't by adding the ability to resume, pause, rewind, and fast-forward a live sports game that is currently being played.

Since Apple is now concentrating on the iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 updates that are scheduled to debut this fall, it's probable that iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 will be some of the final updates to the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 operating systems.
