Transcend has released a new 1TB internal storage expansion card for the new MacBook Pros that were unveiled earlier this year. The expansion concept is straightforward: simply place the drive in the memory card slot and you're done!
The writing and reading speeds are not particularly impressive: 75 MB / s for writing and 95 MB / s for reading.
However, it is plenty for keeping a media collection, photos, videos, or as a time capsule.
The JetDrive Lite 330 drives are now available for purchase.
Before taxes, the price in the United States is $250.
