Chrome 102, Google's own browser, has received a new upgrade.
There were 32 security changes in the release, one of which fixed a major vulnerability.
Third-party cybersecurity researchers had already uncovered all 32 "holes." The critical flaw, labelled CVE-2022-1853, is based on "use after release in IndexedDB."
It's worth noting that none of the vulnerabilities repaired in Chrome 102 are "zero-day" problems.
Interestingly, Chrome 101 had 29 vulnerabilities addressed in its last release, none of which were "zero-day" flaws.
The update is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux users.
