Tencent is still the industry leader in video game revenue, but Microsoft is the fastest growing company

The ten firms that produced the greatest revenue in the video game industry in 2021 were identified by analyst firm Newzoo. Their total earnings are $126 billion dollars.
Initially, there were no differences from previous years: Tencent, the Chinese company that owns PUBG, earns the most money in the business, with $32.2 billion.
And they did significantly better in 2021 than they did in 2020, which brought in $29.3 billion.
This is where Microsoft's performance shines: while being in fourth place, lower than Apple's (because of App Store revenue), Microsoft's video game business grew by 9.6% in 2020, ending with total revenue of $12.9 billion.
