Chris Hughton is commended for attending games in the Ghana Premier League
Charles Taylor, a former player for Hearts of Oak and Kotoko, praised Black Stars manager Chris Hughton for his dedication to the development of the Ghana Premier League.
Although Chris Hughton assured Ghanaians he would keep an eye on the local league to find top prospects for his side, he did not pick any local-based players in his first squad as the Black Stars coach for their doubleheader against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.
Hughton has been seen viewing a few games at various venues, as he promised, in an effort to find and choose the best local players for the Black Stars.
