Tamale City's CEO responds to the Aduana attacks: "It's our responsibility to inform spectators."

Mohammed Iddi, the chief executive officer of Tamale City, has asked football authorities and leaders to instill in their supporters and followers the realities of football so that it will impact their behavior.

Following a violent altercation between his side and Aduana Stars during their Ghana Premier League match last Sunday at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Field in Dormaa, he made these remarks.

The Aduana supporters flung objects at the Tamale City traveling bus, injuring some of the players, despite the home team grabbing a late victory. Stones also caused damage to the bus.

Mohammed Iddi criticized the fans' behavior while urging his colleagues in charge of the various teams to try and stop the problem by teaching fans to be disciplined and accept outcomes as they are.

"We, as the club executives, must band together and thoroughly inform the public about the business of football."

Football is a fair-play game; fans should be aware of this. You can win today, draw tomorrow, and lose points in other games.

I applaud the FA for preventing Aduana FC from playing at Nana Agyemang Badu Field. He said to Citi Radio

The GFA has now temporarily prohibited Aduana from performing at their home venue.
