If your mouse malfunctions when you least expect it, you can still finish your task by switching the cursor control on your keyboard.

 

You must hit the keys ALT + SHIFT + NUM LOCK to make the feature work. Confirm the activation in the dialog box that opens.

 

One more number block is used to control the mouse cursor. Diagonal movement (7, 9, 3, 1) is enabled in addition to movement left, right, down, and up (4, 6, 2, 8). Pressing the 5 key causes a click to occur.

 

The cursor's speed and acceleration can be changed by clicking on the mouse icon in the tray. The cursor can also be made to accelerate when you press CTRL and decelerate when you press SHIFT.
