Leonardo Del Vecchio, the second-richest person in Italy, has passed away, dividing his estimated $25.5 billion wealth among his heirs.

The 87-year-old eyeglass tycoon is survived by six children from three past partnerships, whose ages range from 18 to 65, as well as his second wife, Nicoletta Zampillo.

With the inheritance of Del Vecchio's Luxembourg-based holding firm, Delfin, and its enormous wealth, all seven are now expected to become billionaires.

The factory apprentice-turned-eyewear tycoon, one of Italy's most well-known businessmen with a rags-to-riches tale of success, resided in Monaco and held his enormous wealth through the Luxembourg-based Delfin. His holdings included ownership of Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, and Oakley.
