Samsung is providing a new display for the Google Pixel 7 Pro |
Months before Google's anticipated Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were released, information regarding the company's second-generation Tensor chipset appeared online.
Google has already unveiled the Pixel 7 series, but it has kept a lot of the specifics under wraps in preparation for a formal presentation in the fall. Later, pictures of the Pixel 7 Pro prototype appeared online, verifying certain information regarding the handset and its CPU.
Instead of the S6E3HC3 display that was utilized in the Pixel 6 Pro, Google has reportedly given the Pixel 7 Pro a Samsung S6E3HC4 display. The Samsung S6E3HC4's hardware changes are yet unknown, although the display will continue to have the same 3120 x 1440 pixel resolution as the Pixel 6 Pro.
The Google Tensor 2 processor (GS201) may also have the same core structure as its first-generation predecessor, according to the same boot logs. The efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores rather than the brand-new Cortex-A510 cores are present in the second-generation processor.
