Femishare Foundation is an NGO that is forced to make the youth an asset to their society. They focused more on females and aimed to develop and empower them in every facet of their lives.

We were featured and interviewed on Oyerepa TV and Radio in Kumasi, where we taught the public the proper placement of pads and how to be hygienic as a lady, with the aim of unveiling our menstrual hygiene day. We embarked on a menstrual hygiene day with the aim of creating awareness and sensitizing the students of Agogo State College, one of the most renowned and famous schools in the Asante Akyem district.

We engaged specialists and experts in the field to educate them on the practices, management, and proper disposal of sanitary pads. We were featured again on Oyerepa TV, Salt FM, and TV in the aftermath of the program, and indeed, the impact was massive. We donated over 400 sanitary pads to the student body.

The joy, smiles, and happiness on the faces of the students were impressive. Every student, including those with disabilities, females, and males, was included with the aim of helping debunk all the myths associated with menstrual health. This happened from May to July. We did a book review series where we read personal development books to enhance our intellect and equip us with knowledge from experts like Myles Munroe.

We read Uncover Your Potential, and in fact, it was massive. Fast forward: we collaborated with the University Nursing Student Association of Ghana, under the office of the Gender and Welfare CommissionerMs. Diana, to organize a breast cancer awareness campaign for the whole month of October. From October 1st to October 31st. We engaged workers in all university schools offering nursing to help create awareness and education.

Finally, we ended the breast cancer webinar with our host, a fellow member of the Nelson Mandela team, a public health nurse with a lot of certification and knowledge. It was very insightful and educational. We were educated on how to do a self-breast examination, signs of breast cancer, and the prevention and management of it. Since our members are at our heart, we organize relationship talks and chats on our WhatsApp platform for them, discussing key issues in relationships.

And it has helped a lot of people know how to choose the right partner in life. We do this by collaborating with experts, counselors, and knowledgeable individuals to help us.
