One of the cast members from the Breaking Bad community has passed away.

Actor Mike Batayeh passed away on June 1 at his Michigan home following a heart attack while he was sleeping, a representative told E! News. He was 52. Mike didn't have a history of cardiac problems, and his death was quite unexpected, according to Diane, Mike's sister, who spoke to TMZ.

The family told the outlet on June 9 that "those who loved him will be greatly missed," as well as "his great ability to bring laughter and joy to so many."

Dennis Markowski was portrayed by Mike in Breaking Bad. His persona served as the manager of the laundry Lavanderia Brillante, a ruse for the meth lab where Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) conducted their business.

Mike has roles on The Bernie Mac Drama, Boy Meets World, and CSI: Miami, in addition to his three episodes of the popular AMC drama from 2011 to 2012. He was also a comedian, and two weeks before he passed away, he posted videos of his stand-up performances on Instagram.

Additionally, Mike made several movie appearances, including in Gas and X-Men: Days of Future Past. He previously discussed his preference for working on smaller-budget movies in 2016.

While promoting his independent picture Detroit Unleashed, he stated, "I like independent films more." "I think there is more camaraderie on a tight budget, for some reason. People are more distant when there are large budgets. For a day player, you come in and go out.

He continued, "The experience for me is that I've been on longer shoots for independents."
