Elshaddai Acheampong, Elizabeth Oppong, and Olivia Anokye, three players from Ghana, have won their first trophy while playing for Apollon Ladies Football Club in Cyprus.

The three contributed significantly to Apollon's success this season as they won the top-flight league for women in Cyprus.

Elshaddai Acheamong, a former Gorkulam Karela forward, scored 15 goals for the winners in the just-completed season.

Elizabeth Oppong and Olivia Anokye joined the team in 2021, but they spent the entire season on loan at Lefkothea Women Football Club.

Following an outstanding performance on loan, the pair came back to assist Apollon in winning the championship.

Elizabeth joined from the Ghanaian team Thunder Queen's, while Olivia came from the Portuguese team A DOS Francos.
