Ring doorbell, new Sonos speakers, and tech for smart babies
Faith O'Hara joins us on this week's episode of the Homekit Insider podcast to talk about baby technology that works and doesn't work.
We begin with the news from the past week before moving on to the smart baby items. The debut of the new Sonos Era line was the most noteworthy.
The Sonos Era 100 and Era 300 support HomeKit and AirPlay 2 and have a ton of new features. When linked to specific Sonos soundbars, the Sonos Era 300 is the more powerful of the two, supporting Apple Music Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus, which offers HD+ video and package recognition with head-to-head video, was introduced by Ring this past week.
Finally, Ember has a new smart baby bottle with an integrated heater. Ember previously unveiled a new Find My Phone-enabled thermos in January.
As we come to a close, we discuss all the different baby technologies that Faith and Andrew have tried since welcoming their first child five months ago. We talk about apps, smart bassinettes, bottle warmers, baby monitors, breast pumps, and more.
