A hot new Moto G Power leak from 2023 includes a 50-megapixel primary camera
Motorola is working on at least two intriguing mid-range Android phones in the next few months, in addition to a few (very) distinct high-end phones. They might theoretically make their appearance at any time, joining the Moto G Stylus and G Power from a year ago, which each had their own built-in pen and sizable battery as important selling elements at unquestionably affordable pricing.
The Moto G Power 5G (2023) is back in the spotlight today with just a few more details following an extremely imprecise specification leak a little over a week ago. Although details like screen resolution and refresh rate are still completely unknown, the product name that Evan Blass particularly highlighted seems to hint at a crucial and little-known aspect of this gadget.
Well, it appears that at least one of the numerous possible Moto G Power models for 2023 will support 5G speeds. Mind you, the Moto G Stylus (2022) is offered with and without 5G connectivity, so we wouldn't exactly be surprised if the same held true for the G Power this year.
When compared to the Moto G Power (2022), which was technically released earlier in 2021 but only comes in one 4G LTE-limited version, it's unclear if there will be one or two distinct G Power variants this time. It's even possible that Blass mislabeled his most recent leak with an incorrect 5G tag, though that's unusual for someone with Blass' stellar track record and extensive expertise covering these kinds of technologies.
Incidentally, these new renderings also differ somewhat from the photos that Steve Hemmerstoffer, alias @OnLeaks, and MySmartPrice leaked earlier this month.
The camera module includes wording "confirming" that the primary shooter will be outfitted with 50 megapixels and quad-pixel technology, and two of the three imaging sensors at the back have grown in size.

The Moto G Power 5G (2023) will likely retain the 6.5-inch screen size and 5,000 mAh battery capacity of its non-5G-capable predecessor while undoubtedly packing a significantly more powerful processor than the MediaTek Helio G37 to support the additional cellular technology. That's really all we "know" about the device at this time.
