Find out who's observing you through the camera
Find out who's observing you through the camera |
Large corporations as well as common hackers can attempt to gain access to your camera for personal gain. You probably won't even be aware of it in either situation.
Using the Process Explorer tool is one of the few ways to find out if your camera is being tracked. Since Microsoft Corporation produced the program, it is efficient.
1. To open "Device Manager," press Win + R. Then, run devmgmt.msc and select "Details."
2. Choose "Physical Device Object Name" ("Device" 0000009c) from the list.
3. Copy this name, save it, and launch it with administrative rights.
4. Type the webcam's name into the search box and press the "Search" button while holding down the binoculars icon.
You will only see the procedures and programs that make use of the camera. You can choose to view the details or fill them out.
