A video of some SHS students sharing one fish at a table on social media prompted Andrea Owusu, a popular social media personality and actress from Ghana, to write out her response.
One fish was shared at a table during lunchtime in a video that went viral on social media and showed pupils from the Volta Region's St. Paul Senior High School and Minor Seminary.
The blogger Kobby Kyei shared the video, which has since gone viral on the microblogging site Twitter as he exposes the atrocities of the eating conditions in some of the nation's schools.
Efia Odo responded to the video in an unsavory way, lamenting the direction the nation is currently taking in light of the economic situation.
She also admitted that she is inclined to tweet her opinions about the incident, but she has decided to leave the Twitter platform for the day in an effort to control her need to complain about it on social media.
She wrote that she needed to stop using Twitter for the day. My blood was boiling as I got ready to tweet about the economic crisis and the food that was being supplied to pupils at the SHS. The direction the nation is taking is really depressing.
