On Saturday, against Eibar in the Segunda Division, Ghanaian forward Dauda Mohammed scored Tenerife's first goal.
Mohammed opened the scoring with a fantastic goal after blasting off a throw-in from Nacho.
However, Federico Venancio of Eibar pulled the hosts even six minutes later, and Juan Diego Molina Martinez's late penalty gave the hosts the win.
Dauda Mohammed was replaced by Eladio Zorrila Jimenez in the 57th minute.
The former Asante Kotoko striker transferred from Anderlecht to the Spanish team during the summer transfer window on a loan with a purchase option.
Mohammed enjoyed a successful season playing for Cartegena in Spain the previous year, and he intends to keep up his success there.
In 2023, his current contract with Anderlecht will expire.
