According to Dreams FC Technical Director Karim Zito, Asamoah Gyan is expected to be a member of the Black Stars team before the 2022 World Cup.

The all-time leading scorer for Ghana, Gyan, has stated his intention to represent the Black Stars at the 2018 FIFA World Cup being held in Qatar.

In an interview with the BBC's John Bennett, Gyan acknowledged that he is not currently entirely fit but is working hard to get in shape.

His desire to participate in the 2022 World Cup has sparked numerous debates, with the public being split on whether or not he should be chosen.

Asamoah Gyan should join a club this season to demonstrate that he is healthy and prepared for the World Cup, according to the former Black Satellites coach.

"My best striker is Asamoah Gyan. At the 2015 World Cup, he beat Algeria with a goal of the highest caliber. Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has formally announced his departure from Asante Kotoko just over a year after taking over the club.

Asante Kotoko's seven-year domestic league losing streak was ended by Narteh Ogum, who signed a two-year deal with the team and won the Ghana Premier League in his debut campaign. In an interview with Happy FM, he added, "Imagine if it had been Messi. Everyone would have congratulated him."

We don't have a player on the national team to take Asamoah Gyan's spot. My issue is with his readiness and preparation. How ready is he for the worst-case scenario? He leads the current team by a wide margin when it comes to scoring goals. What is his preparation? And if the coach wants him and he has mentally prepared himself, I will be glad for him.

If he is prepared, he should sign up for the clubs so that everyone can see it.
