Cheryl Burke doesn't skirt the truth in her statements. On August 24, the Dancing With the Stars pro, 38, posted a shocking confession on TikTok, admitting that one of her ex-lovers had cheated on her.
She wrote, "When he vowed he would never talk to her again, yet I found text messages, Viagra, and a necklace hidden in a pair of his shoes," over a seven-second clip of herself looking depressed.
Cheryl's post's caption read, "Absolutely, the last time was correct! A final farewell... I hope it was worth it. # exessucks # thelasttime # farewellforever "
Although Cheryl didn't specify who the ex was, many followers in the comments on her TikTok video think she was alluding to her ex-husband, Matthew Lawrence, with whom she divorced in February.
One individual said, "To think that Matthew did that is sad. One person said, "Kind of hampers his image for me," and another, "MATTHEW????!!! I had hoped for something better, but it appears that a man has failed me once more.
On February 18, Cheryl filed for divorce from the Boy Meets World star after nearly three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of the breakup.
The professional dancer requested privacy regarding her divorce one week later, writing in an Instagram post on February 24 that "I know I have always said that I'm an open book with you guys. I do strive to be, and in writing this I've realised there isn't really an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending."
