How to set up your MOMO Next of kin on MTN

MoMo has become one of the easiest ways for transacting in the day-to-day activities of most Ghanaians. But the question is, do you know the Next of Kin on your MTN MoMo account?

Some of these vendors who register your MoMo account input their details as NOK. I didn't take this seriously until I came across a popular figure on Facebook here who posted his MoMo balance of about GHS 1M some time ago last year. So I asked myself if something should happen to him, who would go claim that money?

Go through these steps to check & update your NOK or add a new one if you have none there

1. Dial *170# and select option 6

2. Select # for next page

3. Select 10 Name & NOK

4. Select 1 to change NOK or to enter a new NOK

5. Enter NOK mobile number

6. Enter NOK first name 

7. Enter NOK surname 

8. Review & confirm NOK details

You'll receive an SMS alert of the update you did. Holla!
