Microsoft and Snap collaborate on custom content.   For sponsored connections into its AI product, Snap has teamed with Microsoft Advertising.   The company recently started testing sponsored links into My AI, an AI chatbot that was launched to Snapchat users earlier this year. My AI will expose relevant information and experiences to Snapchatters from carefully chosen partners.   For instance, the chatbot may provide a link sponsored by a nearby restaurant or food delivery service in response to a user's question about where to eat supper using My AI.   The user might even ask My AI to return a link from an airline or hotel if they wanted recommendations for a weekend getaway. Additionally, it may suggest a local merchant where the user should purchase the item they were enquiring about.   Microsoft said last week at its advertising event that Snap and Microsoft will collaborate on these link suggestions.   Snap's sponsored links, which are powered by Microsoft Advertising's Ads for Chat API, will introduce the user to pertinent partners relating to their chat while also enabling advertisers to target customers at the precise moment they are interested in their product.   The idea of using AI chatbot chats to generate new advertising opportunities is not new for the social media platform.   In an effort to explore whether it might increase traffic to the publisher's website from chatbot users, Microsoft started experimenting with putting advertising from its over 7,500 Microsoft Start partner businesses into the chat after the debut of its own AI chat experience, Bing Chat.   Given that Snap's advertisements also take the form of sponsored links that are pertinent to the conversation, they function similarly to those offered by Bing and Google.   With the help of the My AI advertisement collaboration, Snapchat may start to replace search engines like Google as the primary site where younger Gen Z consumers look for goods and services via AI talks.   To make sure they create smart, practical experiences for the community, the Sponsored Links feature is still in its early testing stages.   The business said that in order to improve My AI in the future, it is also collaborating with a number of other partners

The business said that in order to improve My AI in the future, it is also collaborating with a number of other partners.
