Former Dutch striker Pierre van Hooijdonk praised Ajax forward Brian Brobbey's qualities and predicted that he would excel for the Dutch national team.

The Ghanaian, who was born in the Netherlands, played the whole 120 minutes in Ajax's Dutch Cup final loss to PSV and did well despite being on the losing team.

The 21-year-old, in the opinion of Van Hooijdonk, possesses a distinct skill set that hasn't yet been realized. He believes that Brobbey is a direct attacker who will eventually be successful for both club and country.

"You're also making fun of a boy like that if you keep telling him he's not fit enough. Everyone is aware of what Brobbey is capable of. Strikers frequently do not play for 90 minutes everywhere in the world. Moreover, they endure a great deal. That he must is absurd. And now he has the ability to play PSV for 120 minutes with a full house. He said, "Well, he really didn't learn that in two weeks.

"Because he is so quick and powerful, he was dangerous for Ajax and very bothersome for the PSV defense. The ball is in front of and on the post. He is a true striker, as you can tell from his running moves, said the former striker.

Keep Brobbey to yourself. I think he should play all the time. Otherwise, Ajax will have an excessive number of ball-loving attackers and be an overly predictable team.
