Before the World Cup, Coach Otto Addo and his coaching staff have received an appeal for assistance from former Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akunnor.
The former head coach of Asante Kotoko is confidence in the technical group put together in front of the World Cup tournament, which begins on November 20.
In an interview with Joy Prime, Akunnor made a commendable comment about the technical staff and predicted success for them.
"He has Chris Hughton, George Boateng, and Didi Dramani. These people are really smart, they know the game, and Chris is a big deal in the Premier League, so they'll surely be of assistance," he said.
When I was head coach, I was supposed to collaborate with [George] Boateng, so I had the opportunity to meet him. At the same time, Chris and I spoke.
"When you speak with them, it is obvious that you have already arrived on the scene. They are aware of what the game entails. We should be confident because they will support Otto Addo and he will succeed.
"Let's not focus on the bad things we see too much, even when they are bad. I think we'll perform well at the World Cup if there is a good vibe around the team, he continued.
Before being fired following Ghana's loss to South Africa, coach CK Akunnor began the country's World Cup qualifying campaign by playing two friendlies against Ethiopia and South Africa.
Milovan Rajevac, who had been fired following Ghana's disastrous showing at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, took over for Akunnor.
Before departing for the tournament in Qatar on November 17, 2022, Ghana will play their final practice match against Switzerland.
Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea were placed in Group H with Ghana.
On November 24, 2022, the Black Stars face Portugal to open their season.
