Agyemang Badu, a former midfielder for the Black Stars, claims that missing the 2010 FIFA World Cup was a terrible experience.
Due to an injury, the 31-year-old was unable to attend the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and Badu called it a "sad moment."
"I feel awful because I was in terrific shape and I scored three or four goals in the qualifiers."
At Udinese, I was a part-time player, but unfortunately, I hurt myself in our final two games before the league took a break.
I gave it my best effort; nonetheless, despite the coach's request, I declined because this was my first time and I was still a young person.
I have more years ahead of me, therefore I needed to return to Udine and receive proper care.
It was a painful moment, but thanks to God, I was able to get over it and was given another chance to participate in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. According to Agyemang Badu, of Radio Gold Talk Sport,
With Ghana being eliminated at the group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Badu, who currently plays for Great Olympics, has a second chance to participate.
