Speaking openly about his family dynamic is Kanye West.
After six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, and the rapper discussed his co-parenting style in detail. The couple has four children together: North West, 9, Saint West, 6, Chicago West, 4, and Psalm West, 3. They started dating in 2012 and got married in 2014.
On the Mind Full podcast, Kanye added, "Even now, I'll still give Kim advice on things that will benefit, since that's going to go to the kids. She still has to raise those kids, essentially 80% of the time.
The SKIMS founder requested shared legal and physical custody of the four children and listed irreconcilable differences as the basis for the divorce. In his formal reply, which was sent in April 2021, he also asked for joint custody. Although Kanye and Kim are currently going through divorce proceedings, the KKW Beauty mogul was officially pronounced single in March 2022.
