Osman Bukari and Kristijan Belic made their debuts in the 168th perpetual derby between Partizan and Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda).
The Ghanaian scored the lone goal for the red and whites, and it was a masterful goal. Because of the game in the middle of the field, the latter gained the support of the black and white side of Topiderski Brdo.
In his interview with "Sportski Urnal," Beli also spoke candidly about the derby, particularly in regards to Bukari's goal.
"Bukari's goal was scored at an amazing time. I congratulated myself inwardly. I noticed Zvezda's assailant even though, except from that shot, he didn't pose any threat to us. "We did a great job," Beli remarked.
It is not surprising that Osman Bukari has been chosen as one of the top players in the Serbian league after an impressive first season for Red Star Belgrade.
After matchday 10, he is ranked second among the top ten players in the Serbian Super Liga, and his stellar efforts helped Red Star Belgrade finish in second.
Only teammate Mirko Ivanic, who received a rating of 6.83, was higher rated than the 23-year-old, who scored a 6.78.
Samuel Owusu, a citizen of Osman Bukari, is listed fifth.
For Red Star Belgrade, he has scored four goals in seven league games, helping the team's title defense effort.
By acquiring Osman Buakri from KAA Gent during the summer transfer window, Red Star Belgrade broke their previous transfer record.
