The simplest and one of my favourite methods for maintaining youth.
Eating too many calories causes one to age more quickly than just being overweight.
Because the body paradoxically diverts energy to repair cellular damage when food is scarce, a low-calorie diet helps people live longer. This has so far been demonstrated.
I've also read about this in the writings of Japanese people who lived long lives and arrived at this conclusion via personal experience before science understood the underlying mechanics.
