Defender Samuel Gyimah has joined the Accra Lions

The 21-year-old joins the Accra-based team from Attram de Visser Sporting Club, a lower division team.

 

Defenseman Kassim Osman, who joined Sporting Kansas City and relocated to the United States, is thought to have found the ideal successor in Gyimah.

 

Accra Lions announced in a statement that they were "pleased to confirm the signing of 21-year-old central defender Samuel Gyimah from Attram de Visser Sporting Club."

 

Ishmael Hamidu, general manager of the Accra Lions, expressed delight at the young player's signing.

 

We need physically powerful defenders like Samuel to be competitive because we are the Premier League's youngest team, he claimed.

 

The Accra Lions will travel to Akim to open the 2022–23 season.
