The acrylic polyatomic alcohol that serves as the foundation of the coating has molecules joined by unique bonds that can repeatedly break and recombine when subjected to high temperatures. It is caused by the organic photothermal dye, which absorbs infrared light and emits heat.
For instance, you can speed up the self-repair process by focusing the radiation with a magnifying glass. Scratches then vanish after 30 seconds.
