Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, a Ghanaian of English descent, has signed a contract with League One club Charlton Athletic.
The 19-year-old is on a season-long loan from English Premier League team Crystal Palace to the Addicks.
Rak-Sakyi also agreed to a new long-term contract with the Eagles prior to joining Charlton, keeping him with the club until 2027.
"Being a footballer for Charlton feels great. I've been waiting for this for a very long time, and I simply want to express my gratitude to God and to everyone who helped make it happen. I can't wait to begin, "he said.
There were many clubs interested, but I chose Charlton because it's nearby, has great supporters, a long history, and provides a stage for developing players to express themselves.
Ben Garner, the manager of Charlton, is ecstatic about the adolescent sensation's arrival.
"Jes is an amazing new member of our team. He is a terrific player who heightens our offensive potential and creativity. We are eager to collaborate with him, and we believe he can make a significant contribution this season, "said he.
At Charlton, Rak-Sakyi joins fellow countryman Jojo Wallocot.
