Denmark would restrict travel from the Russian Federation

Jeppe Kofod, the Danish minister of foreign affairs, expected that the EU would decide collectively to forbid the granting of tourist visas to Russians.

 

The government is prepared to change the Danish regulations, the minister declared, "if there is no success in implementing common EU laws."

 

Jeppe Kofod stated, "On the Danish side, we would consider implementing limits that will further lower the number of Russian tourist visas if it cannot be done via a mutually agreeable way."
